Meet the Organising Committee
Adrian Chatterton
Club President of the CCCQ and his enthusiasm for marque is always evident with loyal ownership of various models and many years of active volunteering for the betterment of the club. He looks forward to welcoming you all to the wonderful state of Queensland, and enjoying the surrounds and uniqueness of Maryborough with its wonderful history, architecture, and hospitality.
Eric Greentree
Eric joined CCCQ in 2012 and has served many roles on our committee including Minutes Secretary (2014-2016), Membership Secretary since 2015, Events co-ordinator since 2019. He also chairs our 2025 Cit-in organising committee meetings. All this leaves little time for him to enjoy his Traction Avant and recently restored Jaguar.
Geoffrey Webber
Geoffrey is a retired architect and has been a motoring enthusiast most of his life. He is a member of several Citroen car clubs in Australia since the late 1990s and is most known as the co-author of the book, ‘Citroen DS, the Classic Car in Australia’. Geoffrey has attended some 7 Cit-ins and as a member of the organising Committee for Cit-in 2025 looks forward to welcoming fellow Citroenists from all states in Australia.
Ken Wilson
Ken is CCCQ treasurer who hasn’t missed a Cit-in for many yeears. He most often attends club events in his C5 wagon but every now and again we see him in his beloved blue SM. We look forward to seeing him in his new C5X.
Peter van der Giessen
Peter is a Citroën enthusiast from an early age. He’s had new Citroëns for company cars whenever possible. He especially appreciates the ingenuity of the earlier models. These days he gets by with a nice late model 2CV, which he takes to rallies near and far, despite the heat, rain and wind noise.
Allen Maze
Allen is a past president and life member of CCCQ. He organised our very successful Cit-ins at Dalby in 2018 and Stanthorpe in 2010 and was instrumental in acquiring our club room at Mount Gravatt East.
Bruce Hoad
Bruce has been a CCCQ member since the mid 80’s, joining not long after buying his first Citroen, a GS he still occasionally drives. Over the years he has also owned various others of the Citroen alphabet – AX; BX; CX’s; DS3; Xantias; and a Xsara. Recently retired to the Fraser Coast, he was part of the initial team which vetted possible locations, helping him to learn more about his new local area.
David Belfrage
Mark Turpin
Mark is retired and enjoying the exploration of the world of classic cars. He is the proud owner of 1974 DS23 Pallas and so far has explored the Queensland outback, undertook the long trip to Murray bridge for his first Cit-In in Murray Bridge South Australia. The Citroen is his daily drive and always loves being stop to chat in the carparks of the Gold Coast.
Pam Lowry
Pam is a relative newcomer to the world of Citroëns and loving the friendship in the club, meeting new people from all walks of life, as well as appreciating the design of these amazing vehicles and the enjoyable (and eventful) road trips Mark and I are undertaking regularly. Now retired but with a career in the arts and event management, I am contributing to the planning committee by assisting with coordinating the action plan, sourcing contributors especially activities that will showcase our location and give us all lots to do in and out of the cars and assisting with the design of printed and on-line documents.
