Cit-in Raffle

During Cit-in we will be holding a raffle to raise funds for two worthwhile Maryborough charities.

All funds raised will be equally donated to:

Maryborough Community Meals

Maryborough Community Meal began in 1994 Combined Churches of St Mary’s Catholic Church and the Anglican Parish of Maryborough (St Paul’s and Christ Church). Each Monday up to 60 clients are fed. While some clients are rough sleepers, other are from the hotels where there is little or no cooking facilities, families in need of a meal to stretch the budget, or people looking for company. Also available are necessities such as soap, toothpaste and brushes, blankets, coats, beanies, scarves and other clothes as needed. Everything is either donated or bought out of monetary donations. The generosity of people is always astounding, and it is Maryborough Community Meal’s privilege to pass that generosity on to those in need.

Greater Mary Association

The Greater Mary Association Inc. is focussed on improving the management of the lower Mary River and the Great Sandy Strait, raising awareness about the river and the Strait and increasing the community’s connections to these unique ecosystems. The group continues advocating for protection of the river and its catchment as well as conducting on-ground works and educational activities.
