Monday 5 May: Maryborough to Gayndah

On the road (161 km) after breakfast with your hosts Bruce Hoad and Peter Huth to Gayndah for a warm local welcome. Group booking will be made for evening meal.

There are 11 rooms ranging from $160 for Queen to $180 for twin rooms reserved under the name of Citroen Car Club until 31 December.

Tuesday 6 May: Gayndah to Gympie

Experience the delights of Gayndah – home of Citrus in Qld & La Maison de Citroën with your host Peter Huth.
An afternoon (158 km) drive with Geoffrey Webber to arrive in Gympie for the evening.

All rooms (28) in this motel have been reserved under Citroën Car Club Queensland until 31 December 2024.
All are $149 per night and are king rooms with kitchenette. This is the newest motel in Gympie and close to fast food, Chinese restaurant and pubs.
Undercover car parking is available for all rooms.

Wednesday 7 May: A day in and around Gympie

Many choices of activities – Ride the Mary Valley Rattler, discover the history of gold and timber, drive to the quaint village of Tin Can Bay or it is only 60 km to Noosa for some sun, surf & trendy cafes. Group booking will be made for evening meal.

Mary Valley Rattler: There are many levels of trips to choose from for the classic Rattler Run from $64, Classic Rattler Run with lunch for $95 to a 3 hour VIP experience in the first class carriage at $159. Go to their website and make your choice. https://www.maryvalleyrattler.com.au

Thursday 8 May: Gympie to Gatton

Drive through the Sunshine Coast Hinterland with Ian Steele.Onward through Brisbane Valley with William Hastie to Gatton
(282 km), home of the Queensland Motor Museum & Qld’s salad bowl.
Group booking will be made for evening meal.

Again this is a high quality motel with large king and queen rooms with kitchenette and very modern.
Prices are $149 or $159 depending on size of room.
At the moment there are 15 rooms available but not specifically reserved.

Prices are around $170 per night.

Friday 9 May: Gatton to Stanthorpe

Over the Great Dividing Range to Stanthorpe with your host Lincoln McPhee. Option to detour via Toowoomba then arrive in Stanthorpe (160 km) for the evening.

Arrive in Stanthorpe in the afternoon for 6.30pm Casual catch-up at O’Mara’s Hotel for dinner. (Order from the bar)  (07) 4681 1044  – 45 Maryland St  Stanthorpe

All rooms have been reserved on hold under “Citroen Car Club” until 31 December. There are 4 Deluxe Queen rooms, 5 Deluxe King rooms, 4 Premier
King rooms and some 2 bedroom units which sleep 4. Phone Hayley direct and receive a $10 per night discount in the advertised price.

Saturday 10 May: A day in Stanthorpe

Visit Girraween National Park, catch a winery or two & talk Citroen & all things cars with Lincoln and local car enthusiasts.
Then a farewell to Queensland’s Cit-In Post Tour evening dinner.

9.30am – Meet Lincoln McPhee – Stanthorpe Information Centre (near bridge).

10am  – Inspection of a classic car restoration garage.

12.30pm – Lunch – Hosted by The Historic Machinery Club.
Barbeque at the Club’s  Clubhouse shed. The Stanthorpe Show Grounds

Saturday afternoon – All are welcome to come over to Lincoln’s Place for a catch up and visit to Mt Marley Lookout.  4 Scholz St  Stanthorpe

Saturday Evening – Farewell Meal.
